Rachael links at Bomis |
Rachael Leigh Cook started her career with small modelling jobs, and then on to advertising. She is famed for her 'Milkbone' adverts, where her young face was sprawled over the packaging. The natural beauty was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, but now resides in the comforts of her home in Los Angeles. After featuring in many independant films, and insignificant modelling jobs, she finally made her 'big-break', in the film 'The House of Yes', where she co-starred with Freddie Prinze Jr. The film featured in the Sundance Film Festival of 1997, in which Miramax bought it for $2,000,000. It must have felt like déjà vu when a recurring appearance with Freddie Prinze Jr, in the hit film 'She's All That', left her with two MTV Movie award nominations for Best Duo, and Best Actress. Rachael is very close to her younger brother; Ben, as with the rest of her family. They have a pet dog, and two cats.
